REAGEN™Sulfaquinoxaline ELISA Test Kit is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of Sulfaquinoxaline (SQX) in fish, shrimp, hone y, kidney, liver, meat (beef, chicken and pork), milk, serum, urine and water.
Rapid extraction method for various samples with high recovery (>80%).
High sensitivity (0.5 ng/g or ppb) and low detection limit (0.25 ng/g or ppb for shrimp).
A quick ELISA assay (less than 2 hours regardless of number of samples).
High reproducibility.
The method is based on a competitive colorimetric ELISA assay. The plate wells are coated with capture antibodies directed against anti-SQX antibodies. SQX standards or sample solution, SQX –HRP conjugate and anti-SQX antibodies are added. Free SQX and SQX-HRP Conjugate compete for the SQX antibody binding sites. At the same time, the anti-SQX antibodies are also bound by the immobilized capture antibodies. Any unbound SQX-HRP Conjugate is then removed in a washing step. The TMB Substrate is added to the wells. The resulting color intensity, after addition of substrate, has an inverse relationship with the target concentration in the sample.
